When we talk about food in Lahore, one thing that flicks in the mind is Mm Alam road where one can find eateries of all types.
Though this city of gardens is famous of Desi food but to change the taste buds its important to try new cuisines too.
Recently, we visited a new eatery named ‘East, Chinese and Thai’.
Located at Mm Alam, the outlet reflects an honest endeavour to simulate the ambiance of typical Chinese food and the management has been quite successful in that endeavour, thereby contributing towards an ethnic Chinese and Thai dining experience.
Offering lunch cum Hi-Tea from 1.00pm to 6.00pm, there is a variety of Chinese and Thai dishes.
First, mint margarita is severed as a welcome drink. In soups, you can have East special soup or hot and sour soup.
We tired their east special soup which was delicious in taste.
Coming to the starters, there were chicken spring roll, fried wings, dhaka chicken, chicken tempura and sandwich. Mainly in starters, we liked fried wings, and chicken tempura. Wings were perfectly fried and tempting.
In the main course, there were several dishes likes chicken chow mein, Mexican chicken, parwns in basil sauce, beef chilli onions, chicken cashew nuts, chicken manchurain, kung pao fish, al fredo pasta, egg fired rice and many more.
Each dish has its different favour and absolutely mouth watering.
Last but not the least, in dessert part without which food is incomplete offered a variety of exquisite items like mini pastries, marrie cocktail, bread pudding, shahi tukry, fruit trifle, egg pudding, mousse and panna cotta. One of our favourite from these were egg pudding and shahi turkey which was a delight to eat.
Over all, it’s a place that everyone will love. It has definitely amazing food and a perfect option for those who like to keep the spice level low.
