Govt providing Rs3.8m stipends to refugee students of IOK

The federal government is providing stipends of three point eight million rupees to refugee students of Indian Occupied Kashmir studying in Pakistani universities.

An official of Ministry of Kashmir Affairs said the government is also providing ration package to more than seven thousand refugees’ families every year.

To a question he said comprehensive compensation package has also been introduced to provide assistance to people affected by the Indian army firing on the Line of Control.
