Kashf Shah is a social entrepreneur and cultural ecosystem builder. He is the founder of Better Pakistan Org which is a future school that aims to teach skills of the future to youth in emerging economies such as technology, storytelling, creativity, innovation, design thinking, soft skills, social consciousness, entrepreneurship etc. Until recently, Shah was associated with Information & Culture Department as their Provincial Lead in Youth Engagement which helped young talent accelerate through success and connect with opportunities like All Punjab Drama & Mime,CM Talent Hunt Bano Pakistan Ke Pechan, We Are Listening & many other leading campaigns.
Shah has worked on various projects related to youth empowerment and community building and is currently playing a key role in running the Chief Minister’s Talent Hunt program in Punjab.
Shah is a TEDx organizer and an World Merit Fellow.He serves as as an active mentor.Shah is an alumni of PU Photography Club and is active member of the TEDx community.
Nabeela Rafique is the Co founder and Vice-President of Better Pakistan. Ms. Rafique holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Communication Studies from University of the Punjab, Lahore, and a Diploma in Business Management from Curtin University, Perth, Australia. She also holds a Masters of Philosophy degree in Development Studies from Lahore School of Economics. Her dissertation focuses on the key determinants, which makes Pakistan vulnerable to violent extremism.
Ms. Rafique has been working with British Council, Save the Children Australia, The Autism Association of Western Australia, WWF Pakistan and Research Society of International Law on different projects. Ms. Rafique has completed multiple social action projects with the aim of improving the quality of life for people, particularly children, living in remote areas of Pakistan. Ms. Rafique is currently associated with Information and Culture Department, Government of Punjab.
Faizan Javed was inspired by Journalism since his childhood. He started a bachelor’s programme in Mass Communication from Lahore Garrison University. Following his Graduation in 2016, he started working as a sub-editor in Sunday Plus magazine in the Nation Newspaper. Later on, he was promoted as the Lifestyle Editor of The Nation Newspaper.
Besides, he began his proffesional career being a editor for Mentoring Young magazine as a freelancer. He further worked with several international fashion magazines and blogs as a regular contributor.
With the passage of time he realised Public Relation is a mix of journalism, psychology, and lawyering – it’s an ever-changing and always interesting landscape. He started working in this field. Now currently he handles the PR of Pearl Continental hotel, GharPar, and many other multinational brands. Currently he is associated with The Nation Newspaper as a Lifestyle Editor.
